Grace Fertility statement on the Province of British Columbia's publicly-funded IVF program
September 30, 2024
In February 2024, the Province of BC announced that a new publicly funded in-vitro fertilization (IVF) program will launch in April 2025, covering both treatment and medication for one cycle. While there are no additional updates at this time, the BC Ministry of Health has launched a webpage dedicated to providing the latest information. We encourage you to visit the BC Ministry of Health's IVF funding page to stay informed about future updates as soon as they become available.
At this time, Grace Fertility Centre does not have further details regarding the program, such as eligibility criteria, age restrictions, or waitlist procedures. We ask that you do not contact the clinic for further details, as we will continue to provide updates through our website and social media once we receive them.
MSP (Medical Services Plan) continues to cover fertility consultations and most assessments for BC residents, along with some treatments when referred by a family physician or virtual clinic.

If you are struggling to conceive, have concerns about your fertility, or would like to take a proactive approach to building your future family, we encourage you to book a full fertility assessment as soon as possible. It is particularly important to see a fertility specialist if you have concerns about low ovarian reserve.
